Can Klovinal prevent pregnancy

Klovinal pessary is used for the treatment of vaginal infections like trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis and vulvovaginal candidiasis.

It does not prevent pregnancy. No, it doesn’t. Non of its components has a contraceptive effect.

To prevent pregnancy, please use any standard contraceptive method. This includes pills, implants, condoms etc.

Do not use Klovinal if you are pregnant unless your doctor prescribed it.
